Our Story

Hello, I'm  Jayne — and I'm so glad you're here.

I'm a busy mum of two boys and a primary school teacher living in a little Lancashire town. Life is full, loud, and wonderfully chaotic — and I wouldn't have it any other way. But somewhere between the lesson plans and the packed lunches, I needed something just for me.

That something was sewing.

A Childhood Love, Rediscovered

I've loved sewing since I was a little girl. It was something I shared with my family, and my mum used to call me Blossom as a term of endearment — which is exactly where the name Little Blossom Shop comes from. It felt right. Warm, personal, and rooted in where I came from.

As the years went on and life got busier — teaching, raising my boys, keeping everything ticking along — sewing quietly slipped to the back burner. I missed it, but there simply wasn't the time.

Coming Back to the Stitch

As my boys grew older and became more independent, I picked up a needle again. And something wonderful happened. After a long, busy week in the classroom, sitting down to stitch felt like exhaling. It was calm, creative, and completely mine.

I'd always loved the concept of hygge — that beautiful Nordic idea of cosiness, simplicity, and contentment. And I realised that sewing with a cup of tea in hand was my hygge. My mindful paradise.

Why Little Blossom Shop Exists

I started Little Blossom Shop because I wanted to share that feeling. Not just beautiful craft supplies, but an invitation to slow down, create something with your hands, and find your own little moment of peace — whether that's a quiet Tuesday evening or a stolen hour on a Sunday morning.

Every kit and supply in the shop is chosen with care, by someone who actually uses them and loves them. I hope they bring as much joy to your home as they bring to mine.

Thank You for Being Here

Whether you're a lifelong maker or just starting out, you're very welcome in this little corner of the internet. I'm so glad you found us.
